How do I make sun dills?
Many variations of "sun dills" have circulated in the
last several years. They all call for sealing the jars
and setting them in the sun "to process or cure". None
of these procedures are safe. Setting sealed jars of
pickles in the sun is not an adequate heat treatment as
it will not destroy harmful spoilage organisms.
