Quick Answers
What are ratites?
Ratites are birds such as ostrich, emu, and rhea.
Ratites are gaining popularity as an alternative meat
source. Ratites are raised on farms and allowed to graze
freely. Ratite meat is sold as steaks, fillet,
medallions, roasts, and ground meat.
See "How do you prepare ratites?" for more information.
