Quick Answers...
The counselor says my child is a visual learner. What does this mean? Does she need special education?
Children have different learning styles that affect how they learn. Observe your child at home to see if your child processes new skills and situations by listening, by reading, by touching-or some combination? If the teacher's teaching style favors one method and the child succeeds best by another, the counselor can help by advising the teacher of your child's learning differences.
